John has lived in Dover most of his life. His dad was stationed at Dover Air Force Base and his family moved to Dover when he was 3. At the age of 10, he was placed into foster care and wound up living in Akron, Ohio for 5 years.
John moved back to Dover in 1977 and met his future wife Andrea. After graduating Dover High School in 1979, he entered the Navy until 1986, when he moved back to Dover with Andrea and their two sons, Paul and Sam. He worked as a printer until the Lord called him into Ministry in 1995. John currently serves as Children’ Pastor and Men’s Ministry Director at Calvary Assembly.
Pastor Ben loves to see individuals and families transformed by the power of God's love and are ready to see the "Greater Things" in John 14:12 fulfilled in our church and community.
