Not Just a Woman’s Issue

“Abortion is a women’s health issue; it doesn’t involve us guys.”

Um, no! Society wants us to believe that this is a women’s issue, and men have no right to speak to it. This is a lie! First of all, both male and female babies are being killed. It affects men as much as women.

Abortion isn’t a medical issue, and it isn’t even a political issue. It is a sin issue. Women say they have the choice with what to do with their bodies—however, the body that is in question is not theirs—it is the body of the life inside of them. The Bible calls us to speak out for justice and help those who cannot help themselves. This is why abortion is not a woman’s issue. It is an issue of life.

As men of God, we should be the voice of these innocent babies. We need to be proudly pro-life and stand against the injustice of abortion. We are the only voice they have. They can’t fight for themselves. We must fight for them.

We should support the March for Life.

We MUST support pro-life politicians and reject any politicians who aren’t pro-life. I personally will NEVER support or vote for a pro-choice candidate.

Financially, we can support pro-life pregnancy centers, which help women through what may be a difficult time in their life.

Today, God is calling His men to Rise and Shine for life. This includes speaking out for the weakest among us and defending their most basic right: the right to life.

Memory Verse: Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves,

    for the rights of all who are destitute.

 Speak up and judge fairly;

    defend the rights of the poor and needy. (Proverbs 31:8-9, NIV)
