Have I Told You About My Air Fryer?

Have you ever met someone who got a new product and just couldn’t wait to tell you all about it?

For me, it’s been an air fryer. Yeah, I’m that guy. I love our air fryer.

Adessa and I were kind of late to the air fryer craze. For months, we heard our friends talk about how great air fryers were, but we were always skeptical.

Finally, after about a year and a half of hearing about the wonders of air frying, Best Buy had a sale, and we decided to give it a try. (It was pretty cheap—what did we have to lose?)

As I said, it was love at first try.

Our air fryer is amazing.

In the winter, I can cook all the food I usually make on a grill, and it tastes just as delicious as cooked outside. Teriyaki chicken, barbecue chicken, and even steaks are superb in an air fryer!

Have I told you about the potatoes? Best potatoes you ever tasted! Whether it’s tiny little breakfast potatoes, potato cubes, or french fries, they are just fantastic. And they don’t require oil, so they’re not so bad for you.

As I said, I’m a big fan of the air fryer. Everywhere I go, I tell people about it because I want them to try it and enjoy it, too. After all, I heard about it from my friends, and now I’m just passing it along.

But here’s a thing, as men of God, you and I have something even better in our lives than air fryers. We have the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Each of us has a story of what God has done for us and how He has dramatically changed our lives.

Because we are so thankful and grateful to Him, we should be as anxious to tell other people about Him as we are to talk about our favorite air fryer, Apple product, movie, or sports team. It should just be overflowing out of us.

Why? Because we want other people to know Him, too. We want them to experience all God has for them.

We’re so grateful that someone told us about Jesus’ saving grace and the difference He can make in our lives that we want to pass along the favor and tell other people about it.

And really, that’s all witnessing is: telling someone else about this Great Person that’s in your life. You love God so much that you can’t wait to pass it on.

Memory Verse: For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. (Romans 1:16, ESV)
