Creationism Pt 2

Foundational to Christian theology is the belief that the Word of God, the Bible, is the absolute truth. It contains no lies. It is the Word of God given to man to guide us through life. Right at the beginning of the Bible, in the very first chapter, it tells us how man was created. That is the end of the argument.

Why is this important?

The evolutionary side tries to say there was no intelligent design, and we came to be by accident. By doing this, they devalue life, they devalue the truth that God created man with a specific plan.

I have made them for my glory. It was I who created them. -Isaiah 43:7 (NLT)

We were made to bring glory to God. We were made in His image. The secularist, humanists, and evolutionists hate God and don’t want to bring him ANY glory. So they lie about Creation. They lie about the meaning of life. They devalue life. They devalue the soul of man. This devalues the truth of eternity.

We must stand in the gap and speak the truth. We were created by God to bring Him glory. He created our bodies, He gave us an eternal soul, and we have a responsibility to love, honor, and serve Him.

Ignoring the fact that we were created by God in His image, devalues human life and birth. It diminishes us to a blog of cells and removes our focus from the fact that we are eternal souls.

When human life is devalued, it opens the door to justify abortion, murder, and euthanasia. That’s why it is so important that as men of God we understand the truth of Creation. We need to acknowledge that because we were created in the image of God all life has value.

Memory Verse: I have made them for my glory. It was I who created them. (Isaiah 43:7, NLT)
