Will YOU Rise & Shine?
Now is the moment for you to decide. What are you going to do?
Are you going to throw off those sheets of comfort and complacency and get out of bed?
Are you going to stay standing and not allow mistakes or sins you may commit to drive you back to the comfort of the covers?
Are you going to daily wear the wardrobe of a man of God that we discussed in chapters five and six?
Will you choose to shine bright for God and His ways?
Will you develop your own convictions based on God’s Word and shine brightly for these convictions?
Will you shine for life and embrace the fight in all its forms?
Will you shine for truth even when the world tries to convince you that their lies are truth and the Bible’s truths are lies?
Will you shine for the healing power of God to heal bodies, minds, souls, and spirits?
Do you have what it takes to rise and shine?
It is a decision all men must face and make at some point in life. It is the difference between right and wrong, life and death.
You must make a decision. But let me tell you this. I believe in you. I believe that you have what it takes. I believe that you have the strength and power to kick back the covers, rise, to shove complacency, fear, and any other thing keeping you stuck under the covers. I believe you have what it takes to rise and shine, to be the beacon of God's light to a lost and dying world.
