Shut Up About Politics

Often when we talk about the need to “rise and shine” and fight against abortion or other social issues, we hear, “But Jamie, I don’t want to get involved in politics.”

This isn’t politics—it’s life or death. Too often, these things are looked at as political issues when they are sin issues.

These are issues of morality, right and wrong.

When we abandoned the truth that God created man in His image, we devalue life.

It isn’t a political problem. It’s a sin problem.

As men of God, we are called to stand against sin and for righteousness. We need to stand in the gap. We must shine bright for life!

Memory Verse: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:5, NIV)
