Creationism 1
The lies of evolution, the big bang, and a host of other untrue theories of where man came from have pervaded our world. Because so many do not want to acknowledge the existence of God, they deny the truth of Creation and makeup lies.
So where did men come from? The Bible is clear. God created man in his own image. Man wasn’t an upgraded form of an ape or a monkey. He wasn’t the result of a big bang in the cosmos. Man wasn’t an accident! God, the Maker of the Heavens and the earth, created him. Any other version of creation is a lie!
Many may think, “But Jamie, that isn’t what I learned in school.”
That’s because the world hates the idea of God creating anything. They hate God and don’t want to give Him glory. So they have adopted the false teaching and lies of evolution and are force-feeding it through the education system.
I was privileged to be able to attend a school that believed in the truth of Creation. They presented the argument of Creationism, as well as evolution. They presented scientific facts. There are a LOT of scientific facts and evidence that support Creationism. These scientific facts are ignored by the other side as they present a slanted, untrue version of Creation. However, it is a lie to say that there is no science for Creationism. There is quite a bit. As a parent, you need to learn about it so that you can share it with your children.
As men, we need to stand for truth. We need to declare that God is the Creator, and we are His creation. If you are a father, it is your job to teach your kids the truth of Creation to counter the lies the school systems are pumping into their heads. I recommend you read the entire Assemblies of God Position Paper on Creation.
I also recommend reading “Evidence That Demands A Verdict” by Josh McDowell. This timeless Apologetic book has information on Creation and Adam as well. Look for other books on Creationism so that you know what you need to know to educate your children and help them learn the truth about creation.
